2nd Call for Applications

Teso Education Fund (TEF) invites eligible candidates from Teso to apply for scholarships for professional certificate and diploma courses offered in Uganda in the academic year 2022-2023.

The application opens on 29/11/2021 and closes on 31/12/2021 at 11:59 Uganda Time. This Deadline has now been extended to Friday 07/01/2022.  Interviews of shortlisted applicants will be in January 2022. Successful applicants will be notified within 2 weeks.

TEF is a charity organisation registered in the UK and in Uganda. It exists to promote development through implementing projects in education, skills training, and education-related interventions in Teso in Uganda, in the UK and online.

The vision of TEF is a world in which all young people are well educated, skilled, and empowered to live their lives to their full potential.

The mission of TEF is to improve the wellbeing of underprivileged children, families, and communities in Teso through sustainable advancement of education and skills training, undertaking other development interventions and ensuring social inclusion in our work.

Instructions

Before you start your application, have the following documents ready to upload: 1. National identity card (Must) 2. Education certificates or pass slips (Must) 3. Letter of introduction from LC1 (Must) 4. Letter of admission (Must) 5. Passport size photo (Must) 6. Personal statement (Must). Tell us why you want a scholarship. Write about yourself, your family, your plans, and the course you want to study.  Your statement should be 500 words or 1 page. Write the statement yourself or else, you may be disqualified. 7. Evidence of existing funding (if you are applying for a partial scholarship) 8. All questions marked* are compulsory
